Congregation Agudath Sholom in Stamford, Connecticut, USA
Breastfeeding in the Sanctuary:
It is probably not permitted.
Private Nursing Locations:
Private nursing may be done in the anteroom to the main women’s bathroom. The room is just marked as a bathroom, but the anteroom has a comfortable couch. It is on the main floor, and accessible on Shabbat.
The website offers no policy about breastfeeding.
The community accepts covered nursing during children’s programming and at kiddush.
General Child Friendliness:
There are changing tables available in the women’s bathroom and the men’s bathrooms. Stroller parking is on the main floor most of the time, or under a dedicated tent over the high holidays.
The attitude toward children in the main service is “positive though play is discouraged from the sanctuary and encouraged in groups which are extensive and awesome. Quiet play is fine during davening”.
